85A very interesting astrological event came to my attention recently via Spirit and Destiny Magazine. It is one that has been rather under reported so far. On the 26th of January, the distant planetoid Pluto will enter the astrological house of Capricorn the sign of conservatism, leadership and at times dominance. America was born as a nation on the date 04/07/1776 under the exactly opposed sign Cancer during the end of a journey through Capricorn by Pluto.

Pluto In Capricorn - Astrological Perspective On Bad Finance by Sherryelyn

by admin on May.03, 2009, under Pluto in Capricorn

From manticeye.com

Pluto in Sagittarius over the last dozen or more years has led to a growing problem of predatory lending. The usually straightforward and generous sign of Sagittarius has been corrupted by poker faced Pluto during a dangerous gamble with the benefits and gains that are customarily associated with the sign and its ruler, Jupiter. The typically Sagittarian generosity, giving the world hope to access to good lives and better futures, was being driven by an underground Plutonian element. The concept of “giving” in this case had strings attached, and came with a high and unknown price. As we reached higher and higher, we were convinced the benefits from this large scale pyramid scheme would never end. Our governments gambled with our futures for years, looking for bigger and bigger yields and returns. As Pluto moves into pragmatic Capricorn, Capricorn wants to cash in its chips. And what we are getting in return is not what we had hoped for.

Pluto in Capricorn by Boots Hart, CAP

by admin on May.03, 2009, under Pluto in Capricorn

Simultaneously with Pluto being ‘demoted’ from planet to a dwarf planet, came the realization that ‘Pluto’ is really a binary object: Pluto’s ‘moon’ (Charon) co-exists with Pluto, with both objects orbiting a center of gravity lying between them. A perfect metaphysical reflection of the symbolism suggesting neither controls , nor is dominant over the other is how Pluto (i.e., Pluto-Charon) operates in our lives. How ? Well, look at it this way - we are not in total control of life. . . right?! We would like to be; but are we . . . ? No .

We are in fact all subject to the workings of the World even when we do our best to avoid said fate. Oddly, throwing in the towel on trying does not seem to work either. If we stop trying to construct our life in some meaningful fashion, life simply takes over, dictating a list of (usually limited) options.

Pluto in Capricorn - A Hard Look At Core Realities: By Robert Wilkinson

by admin on May.03, 2009, under Pluto in Capricorn

Article from Aquariuspapers.com
Pluto is the ultimate transformer which purifies all forms down to their “seed quality.” In any seed is the inherent pattern of its future form. If Pluto rules seeds and the power of self-replication inherent in all seeds, then we can learn a lot about archetypal patterns by studying how Pluto works.

First, a few words on how Astrology works. The natal chart shows our basic tone that evolves within our larger Dharma as shown by progressions. The transits show the gestalt of the moment, the individual forces and collective patterns within which we live, breathe, and have our Being. They are inner and outer events that are precipitating triggers where we learn to realize and apply our various understandings and skills we’re developing this lifetime.

Different transiting planets symbolize different areas in our larger growth process. The inner planets, namely the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars, impact us on more personal, day to day levels. The outer planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto show more the slower, more seemingly “permanent,” social, cultural, and spiritual levels we’re living in our particular ways.

Pluto Enters Capricorn - Voxx.org

s_devil_1Whatever transformations you will experience depends on a few things:

1) The placement of Pluto in your Natal Astrological Chart and how this transit will aspect it; and

2) The placement of Saturn in your Natal Astrological Chart and how this transit will aspect it;

Pluto is considered the Planetary Ruler of the sign of Scorpio, itself the Zodiac Sign of Transformation, the Occult, Legacies, Sex and Death.

Capricorn is ruled by the planet Saturn, which is the planet which rules Career, Recognition, Restriction, Karma and — you guessed it — Death.

Pluto’s Coming Transit Through Capricorn By Gary Lorentzen

by admin on Apr.29, 2009, under Pluto in Capricorn

Once Pluto went into Capricorn in 1763, the political and economic structures of the world began to transform. The previous Pluto in Sagittarius had expanded the ideals of Renaissance (Uranus Pluto conjunct in Leo in the mid 1400s) into a new Age of Reason–a new Enlightenment. The new idea, ‘Reason was Divine’ — it was God manifesting in the world through human beings — came about with Uranus in Pisces squaring Pluto in Sag. Reason was the ‘divine spark’ (Uranus/Pisces) in the human brain that would transform the superstitions and illogical beliefs (Pluto/Sag) of the previous 1700 years, taking Descartes’ (b. 1596 with Uranus/Pluto conjunction in Aries) statement, “I think, therefore I am”, which in turn was a reformulation of the humanism born during the Renaissance– Uranus/Pluto conjunct in Leo, and turning it into a new cultural value and world-view. All social, political and economic structures that did not embody those free-fire-spirited ideals of Pluto in the Fire Signs were targets for rebellion and revolution once Pluto went into Capricorn. The mass psychology that had unquestionably accepted Kings, Queens, empires and aristocratic royalty as the natural forms of human leadership began to change. Pluto in Capricorn transformed all of that and institutionalized the Enlightenment philosophies in a new form of social organization called ‘liberal democracy.’ (Especially, when Pluto squared Saturn in Libra, the Americans began agitating for a new social/political contract with England.) These new socio-political ideas were institutionalized in the Articles of Confederation that obliterated authoritarian government structures and completely embraced the concept of government as a ’social contract’ with the power concentrated in the People once Pluto entered Aquarius. (The Articles, however, were ill-conceived in structure and were scrapped in favor of Madison’s and Jefferson’s more balanced approach, The U.S. Constitution with its Bill of Rights–but this was also under Pluto in Aquarius.)
